## Entering the details

| ----------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |

## Setting the event location

Choose from offline, online, both, and location to be decided. If you choose offline or both, an address is required; use the extra notes for anything that helps people find you, such as which elevator to take.

Turn on `Hide location` to reveal the street address only to approved guests — the district (for example, Gangnam-gu) is shown either way. For an online event, the link is sent automatically an hour before the event starts, and you can also send it to everyone at a time you choose from the event management page.

## Choosing how people attend

| Method | How people attend |
| ---------------- | ------------------------------------------------- |
| Open Event | Anyone can attend without registering. |
| Registered Event | Attendees have to register a free or paid ticket. |

## Creating tickets

| Field | Details |
| :--------------------- | :------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| Ticket price | Choose a free or a paid ticket. |
| Ticket name | Required. Up to 38 characters. |
| Ticket description | Describes the ticket. Up to 2 lines of 19 characters each. |
| Host approval required | Registrants join a queue instead of being confirmed immediately. Whether the ticket is free or paid, the host has to approve it before they can attend. |
| Limited quantity | Limits how many tickets are issued. |
| Waitlist once sold out | Available when you set a limited quantity. |
| Sales start · end date | Sets the window in which the ticket can be purchased. |

Select `Add ticket` to create several kinds of tickets with different conditions.

### Setting up the ticket form

In `Ticket form settings`, you decide what information registrants give you when they register a ticket. You can send event announcements to the email addresses and phone numbers you collect, and you can use an additional field to add consent to the use of personal information.

| Field | Details |
| ----------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Name, email | Collected in every case. Event announcements are also sent to that email address. |
| Phone number | Optional. |
| Additional fields | Write your own questions.
Choose short answer, long answer, checkbox, or multiple choice, and set whether each is required. |

## Setting a refund policy

Paid tickets require a refund policy. Pick one of three in `Change` under `Refund policy`. It applies to every paid ticket on the event at once.

| Policy | How it works |
| :-------------------- | :----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Free cancellation | Guests cancel for a full refund up to 24 hours before the event starts. After that, cancellations go to the host for approval. |
| Standard cancellation | A fee is deducted based on the cancellation date and the rest is refunded automatically. **Cancellations within 24 hours of purchase are refunded in full**, following the Korea Fair Trade Commission's consumer dispute resolution standards.

\[10+ days before] **100% refund**
\[7-9 days before] **90% refund**
\[3-6 days before] **80% refund**
\[1-2 days before] **70% refund**
\[Day of the event] **10% refund**
\[After the event starts] **0% refund** |
| Host approval | The guest submits a cancellation with a reason and the host decides on a full or partial refund. |

<Warning>
Changing the policy also changes the refund terms for tickets that have already sold. Guests know the terms as they were at the time of purchase, so tell them with an [announcement](/en/console/event-announcement) after you change it.

The host pays the fee even when a refund happens. For the exact terms, see the [Event Service Terms](https://www.rocketpunch.com/terms?termType=TERMS_OF_EVENT).
</Warning>

## Ticket sales fees

Creating an event costs nothing. Fees apply only when you sell paid tickets.

The brokerage fee is 3% on the Free plan and free on Growth and above. A card processing fee applies on top of that: 2% for cards issued in Korea and 3% for cards issued elsewhere. You can review your settlements in `Tickets` > `Settlement` under event management.

For the conditions on each plan, see [Plans](/en/console/plan-overview).
