# Inviting members

> How to invite the people you work with and give them console permissions.

Add teammates from `Rocketpunch` > `Enterprise Services` > `Permissions` by selecting `Invite`. Inviting members requires the owner role or higher.

## Inviting a member

1. In `Rocketpunch` > `Enterprise Services` > `Permissions`, select `Invite`.
2. Enter the Rocketpunch handle of the person you want to invite.
3. Set their base permission. You can choose owner or member.
4. Select their area permissions. You can pick more than one of social, hiring, events, education, and advertising.
5. Select `Invite` to finish.

<Tip>
  Even when you want to hand over the **primary owner role**, you have to finish the invitation first. After that, select the member in the list under `Permissions` and **transfer** the primary owner role to them.

## Granting other permissions

You can put someone in charge of a single posting or event without giving them permissions for the whole company. Once granted, they appear in `Permissions` > `Item-level access`.
