# Finding courses

> How to find the training course you want using keywords, filters, and sorting.

Rocketpunch Education lists all kinds of programs: bootcamps, academies, online courses, mentoring, and more. Keyword search, filters, and sorting help you find the right course quickly.

## Searching for courses

Enter a keyword in the search bar at the top of the Education screen. You can search by course name, institution name, tech stack, location, and similar keywords. Select one of the topics below the search bar (for example, AI/Machine Learning or UI/UX Design) to go straight to the courses on that topic.

## Applying filters

You can narrow your search with filters. You can select several options within a single filter, and tapping `Apply` updates the results. The more filters a course matches, the higher it appears.

| Filter | Options |
| -------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| Category | Narrows results to the field you are interested in, such as frontend development, AI/machine learning, UI/UX design, or digital marketing. |
| Eligibility | Choose from anyone, job seekers, employed workers, or students. |
| Training Type | Choose from training course (KDT), training course (KDC), or training course (other/private). |
| Online/Offline | Choose from remote courses, in-person courses, or courses that mix the two. |

<Tip>
  **Understanding training types**

  * **Training course (KDT):** the Ministry of Employment and Labor's K-Digital Training program. It builds practical skills in digital and emerging industries such as AI, cloud, and semiconductors.
  * **Training course (KDC):** the Ministry of Employment and Labor's K-Digital Credit program. It teaches foundational digital skills online.
  * **Training course (other/private):** courses that are neither KDT nor KDC.

To take a KDT or KDC course, you first need a **Naeil Baeum Card** (국민내일배움카드), the national training voucher. The government covers most of the training cost and you pay the rest. How much you pay yourself varies by course and program, so check the details on each course.

## Sorting

You can sort results by `Recommended` or `Closing Soon`. Recommended shows the courses that best match your criteria first, and Closing Soon shows the courses whose applications close soonest.

Ads that institutions or companies have paid for may appear at the top of the list with an `Ad` tag. For details, see the [Rocketpunch recommendation transparency terms](https://www.rocketpunch.com/terms?termType=TRANSPARENCY_OF_RECOMMENDATION).
