# Add your basic information

> Learn how to build and use your personal profile.

Your profile is where you introduce yourself on Rocketpunch. Fill in your basic information and add your experience, education, activities, and languages so companies and recruiters see a more accurate picture of you.

## Add your basic information

Set the name, handle, job category, seniority, and bio that appear at the top of your profile. The handle and career details (job category and seniority) you chose during account setup can also be changed here at any time.

| Item                                | Details                                                                                                                                           |
| ----------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Display Name                        | The name shown on your profile. You can enter up to 30 characters and change it up to 2 times every 14 days.                                      |
| Profile Handle (ID)                 | The unique ID that becomes your profile address. See [Set your handle and career](/en/account-initialization) for the rules and how to change it. |
| Bio                                 | A short introduction that describes you through your role, interests, and experience. You can enter up to 300 characters.                         |
| Job Category (Desired Job Category) | Select the job category of your current career or the one you're looking for.                                                                     |
| Seniority                           | Select your seniority level.                                                                                                                      |
