# Report a Discover

> Learn how to report an inappropriate Discover item.

If you come across an inappropriate Discover item, you can report it. Please report Discover items that do not comply with the [Community Guidelines](https://www.rocketpunch.com/terms?termType=COMMUNITY_GUIDELINE) or that you believe have legal or ethical issues.

1. Select the `More button ⋮` on the Discover item and select `Report Discover`.
2. Select a reason for the report and press `Submit`.
   | Reason                                                  | Description                                                                                                |
   | ------------------------------------------------------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
   | Contains false or distorted information                 | The news presents unverified claims as fact, or reports the facts inaccurately.                            |
   | A title or summary that differs from the actual content | What the title and summary announce differs from the original article.                                     |
   | Contains offensive or explicit language or images       | The news contains violent language or images, or ones that are sexually degrading.                         |
   | Promotional news posted as advertising                  | It looks like news, but it actually promotes a particular product or service.                              |
   | News that infringes copyright or other rights           | As the rights holder of the work, you believe it was used without credit, or beyond the scope you allowed. |
   | Free text (up to 500 characters)                        | Enter your own reason in 500 characters or less if none of the reasons above apply.                        |
3. The report is handled after an internal review by our operations team.

  Your report stays anonymous, and the content is no longer recommended to you after you submit it. If the situation is serious, please also report it to your local authorities.
