How Quick Apply Works
Find a job with Quick Apply
Browse the Jobs page and look for listings that support Quick Apply. These postings let you complete the entire application without leaving Rocketpunch.
Open the listing and click Apply
Open the job posting and click the Apply button. For Quick Apply listings, this initiates the in-platform application flow rather than redirecting you to an external site.
Review your auto-populated details
Rocketpunch automatically fills in your application using your profile data — including your headline, work experience, education, skills, and contact information. Take a moment to confirm everything looks accurate and up to date.
Confirm and submit
Once you’re satisfied with the pre-filled information, confirm your application and submit. The process takes only a few seconds if your profile is current.
What Companies Receive
When you Quick Apply to a listing, the hiring company receives your Rocketpunch profile as your application. This includes:- Profile headline and summary — your self-described professional identity and background
- Work experience — roles, companies, durations, and descriptions you’ve added to your profile
- Skills — the technologies, tools, and competencies listed on your profile
- Education — academic background and certifications
- Contact information — the details you’ve made available for recruitment purposes
Quick Apply vs. External Application
Companies on Rocketpunch choose how they accept applications. Here’s how the two methods differ:| Quick Apply | External Application | |
|---|---|---|
| Where you apply | Directly on Rocketpunch | Company’s own careers page or ATS |
| Form to fill out | None — your profile auto-populates | Varies by company |
| What the company receives | Your Rocketpunch profile | Whatever the company’s system collects |
| Speed | Seconds | Depends on the external form |
| Requires leaving Rocketpunch | No | Yes |
Some companies offer both options on the same listing — a Quick Apply button alongside a link to their own career page. If you prefer to apply through a company’s own system or want to include materials not on your Rocketpunch profile (such as a custom cover letter or portfolio), you can use the external link instead.
